I manage a portfolio of properties in California, Texas, and Alaska (LTRs and STRs).As a real estate investor, my work includes: research on zoning, permitting, rental ordinances, and market competition; projecting property/rental values and assessing risk; creating strategic tax plans; working closely with realtors and lenders; establishing partnerships for capital and long-distance operations; and curating spaces and amenities that provide guests with memorable experiences.I am part of the Land Hacker (Kai Andrew) program and aim to expand my portfolio internationally.

Increased responsibilities included:• Project Management of 60-70 corporate, foundation, and government grants and loan compliance deliverables on recurring monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual timelines.• Worked closely with Senior Management and Board Directors to bring the organization onto the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) database, a federal requirement for all lenders.• Partnered with a third-party consulting team to build and improve customized grants and compliance management systems in Salesforce.

As part of the Capitalization team, I was responsible for prospecting, research, grant writing, and reporting for institutional partners. I also focused on streamlining internal operations through Salesforce.

United Way Bay Area (UWBA) works at the hub of collective impact, bringing together thought leaders from private and public sectors to assess socioeconomic gaps, and develop and implement initiatives to break the cycle of poverty. My efforts largely included the following:Created proposals and annual reports for new and existing institutional funders; coordinated with Finance to prepare comprehensive budgets for proposals and financial reporting; managed grant prospects, research, final reports, and communications in Salesforce; built and maintained relationships with corporate, foundation, and government funders; created boilerplate language for developing future grant proposals.

I facilitated the management and coordination of annual corporate giving campaigns; educated audiences of various makeup and sizes about UWBA's core programs through public presentations; gained expertise regarding UWBA's proprietary services to grow revenue and improve performance of the campaign; and built good rapport with internal teams to work together and find common solutions.I have participated in this 3-4 month fellowship program twice: 2015 and 2017.

Their mission is to be the world's most trusted source for branded solutions through marketing merchandise.I managed a portfolio of accounts valued at over $1 million in the technology, healthcare, and consumer product industries; wrote and presented new business proposals for Fortune 1000 companies on promotional products, trends, and in-house capabilities; developed meaningful relationships with core clients to grow business and close larger contracts through brand development, e-commerce stores, and tradeshows; supported customers through order processes, from product sourcing and manufacturing to fulfillment and follow-up; partnered with multiple departments (sales, client services, marketing, and domestic and international production teams) to meet deadlines and create customer-driven solutions.

The California Academy of Sciences is a large scientific museum and research institution with a mission to explore, explain, and protect the natural world. I supported key strategies to acquire, service, and retain over 65,000 active member households. I successfully grew membership renewal rates by over 27% from 2011 to 2012 through direct mail campaigns; developed sales toolkits and incentive reward programs to increase membership sales in the Call Center; processed a high volume of membership transactions - helping to achieve an $8.2M FY11 revenue goal; supported, tracked, and analyzed daily phone and email communications with customers; applied systems data and customer feedback to make recommendations to improve business operations and user experiences.
