Ellen Webber was born and raised in Los Angeles. She studied art and the humanities at the University of San Diego, and visual journalism at Brooks Institute of Photography. After earning her degree in visual journalism she interned at NPR's Science Desk in Washington, D.C. and also served as Intern Edition's Multimedia Editor while there. Most recently, she created visual content across digital and print media as the Multimedia Director/Videographer for the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (formerly New England Regional Council of Carpenters). Ellen's work has appeared in multiple print and online publications including US News & World Report, NPR.org, WBGH.org, Engineering News-Record, Strant Magazine, LAtimes.com and HEEB Magazine, as well as being recognized by the 63rd College Photographer of the Year, the 20th Annual Women in Photojournalism Exhibit, the 12th ARPA International Film Festival and the 7th and 8th Readymade Film Festivals.Ellen is currently based in Los Angeles and available for assignments worldwide.
