It is less about what I have done, more about what I will do, and mostly the heart with which I do what I do. I have been in the beauty/fashion industry more than half of my life. I am captivated by the ever evolving nature of it, the evocative language, the romantic stories & history, the modern technology & progress of what can be achieved. It is one of the most impactful economies dedicated entirely to one core concern: making people feel beautiful! The luxury of working in a creative industry is it allows accommodations for unique personalities. Part of navigating them is being aware of what is meaningful to them, & connect with it, speak their language. If I were forced to state an attribute, I would consider this among my greater skills. What good is any knowledge I have if I cannot relay it in language that speaks to another? I am known for saying, "give me your worst client. Let me smooth this over."My background is extensive as my need to know more. I began as a stylist, & evolved to creating faces 11 years ago, finding this is my true love. There is no greater feeling I get than watching a person respond to what they see when they look in the mirror. Whether it is a model for runway, or a 12 year old girl who sees eyebrows where it is bare from chemo, or through the lens of a photographer documenting families with children in UH Hospital through Flashes of Hope. I can change what you see. I can create the glowing face in your wedding album you look back on it 20 years from now. I can erase scars. I can accentuate what which want people to notice, and obscure that which you don't prefer to reveal.I am devoted to teaching professionals and consumers how this isn't fantasy, it is an awaiting reality. I work with stylists, estheticians, plastic surgeons, dermatologists. I work with both analytical & creative minds, & develop the economy of them.I live in the world of "what if..." I am inspired by beauty. I will find it anywhere and everywhere.
