​​DON National is a student-led non-profit aimed to integrate diverse materials into high school curriculums. They deliver impact through locally established chapters across the US that work towards educational equity in their respective districts. As National Director of Communications, I attended a number of weekly meetings, as well as larger national events. I was responsible for managing over 10 chapters, which included meeting with them bi-weekly to help organize projects, facilitate policy changes, etc. On a national level, I drove outreach initiatives for exec and facilitated the establishment of new chapters. I was also selected as a recent panelist to speak at national event emphasizing the importance of a diversified education.
