Born and raised in Nashville, TN, and currently working in Chicago, IL as an Associate in the Deals practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The Deals team is part of the firm's Advisory group. No days are the same in the transaction advisory space, but fundamentally my daily role consists of working within teams to assist clients across the deal spectrum (from growth to restructuring) to maximize/capture value. With a consulting mindset, we solve our clients’ issues around deals or other transformational events they face. I attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where I received my undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting in 3 years, and went on to obtain my MBA in Financial analysis at IU's Kelley school as well. Outside of the classroom at Indiana, I was involved in the Real Estate Workshop, Indiana University Club Golf Team, Alpha Kappa Psi - Professional Business Fraternity, and was an assistant Professor for an Undergraduate Business class at the Kelley School. On a more personal level, I am passionate about Golf, Real Estate Development, Mindset Books, and Southern Barbeque. What drives me and separates me from others is my growth mindset. Everyone is going to face difficulty in their life, and it's the way you approach it that will determine if you will learn from it or let it define you. With the growth mindset one does not get frustrated or down when things do not turn out perfectly, a failure in eyes of some. Enabling a growth mindset allows you to never let a single situation over consume or define you as a person. When you learn to think in a way that you understand tense moments you face will not define who you as a person, you begin to learn more from every situation you encounter, good or bad, and you start to turn everything most people see as a challenge into an opportunity.
