Mine Hill Distillery, after a two year restoration, is about to open in an award winning historic landmark 90 minutes north of NYC. We have a 1,500 L custom made Kothe still and other state of the art equipment in an 1860 cigar factory. Our 1872 train station is dedicated event space and our 1910 barrel house is sited next to our own waterfall and blue ribbon trout stream. Our vision is to create spirits Still Made In Connecticut. As a farmer, I am committed to working with local farms and to make a wider impact in our community by supporting craftsmen, local businesses and establishing an artist in residence program at the distillery. The care that we have taken in our restoration is reflected in the spirits in our bottles. We will launch our signature vodka and gins in the near future and will take the time to age up our own authentic bourbon, rye and whiskey.
