I am a highly motivated, collaborative-minded student pursuing a B.S. in Physics to launch a career in atmospheric and oceanic physics. The simultaneous intricacy and resiliency of Earth’s climate fascinates me. I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in atmospheric physics to research our complex planet and innovate solutions to the most challenging environmental problems. I aim to understand how large-scale, physical systems, such as the atmosphere and oceans, interact and change over time to shape Earth’s climate and impact weather patterns.I am especially curious about the potential impacts of technologies such as AI, quantum computing, and materials science on understanding of extreme weather. Our future cities and society will be built on these innovations to enable humanity to flourish along with our beautiful planet.I am passionate about pursuing truth across disciplines, especially at the crossroads between science, philosophy, and theology.
