I have recently graduated from a 4-year MSci Course for Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol with First-Class Honours. My Master's dissertation involved using cell synchronisation methods to attempt to increase the quality of engineered articular cartilage deposited by chondroprogenitor cells (stem cells which are partially differentiated into cartilage-producing cells). I have experience in writing literature reviews, abstracts, lay papers and research articles which describe a study's findings in an attractive and professional manner. Throughout my degree I have had to compile articles in the form of specific journal guidelines, such as Cell Press literature reviews and Current Opinions research papers, hence I am well-versed in formatting and editing documents to fit a distinct format. I have medical editing experience, gained through an internship undertaken with Klarity Health, wherein I reviewed medical articles to ensure all information was clinically accurate and of the highest written standard prior to publication. I was also a volunteer proofreader at university, where I offered my services to edit various documents such as Computer Science reports, Geography papers and Biomedical research articles. My time in the hospitality sector has provided me with invaluable customer service skills, and I always strive to initiate a discourse in order to completely understand customers' wants and needs so that I may fulfil their exact requests and ensure clients are fully satisfied with the results of my work.Throughout my time at university I often undertook the role of Student Guide, wherein various students and I would take prospective Life Science offer-holders on a tour of the Biomedical building to showcase the university's various facilities and ensure all questions were answered in a manner that would truly present the university as a wonderful place to study. I am well-versed in computer software such as Microsoft Office, and am very comfortable with adapting to new software and programs utilised by various companies and clients. I am also a native French and English speaker, which often comes in handy should clients require bilingual discourse or interpretation with their European customer base.
