Key Duties and Responsibilities:
− Interpreting and understanding client brief and expectations, carrying out building technical evaluations, occupancy potentials and project programme.
− Preparing, evaluating and negotiating subcontractor tender packages for tender and construction procurement.
− Completing comprehensive project commercial costs for tender submissions and client proposals in conjunction with generating detailed project specifications.
− Co‐ordination with the design team to ensure value engineering and build‐ability to achieve the project particulars of overall client design brief, cost and programme.
− Preparation of licence to alter submissions, planning applications, building control co‐ordinatios and submissions.
− Preparation of Design & Build JCT 2011 and payment schedules for contract.
− Collation and co‐ordination of all pre‐construction adjudication documentation, including subcontractor quotations, contractors proposals and contract ready for construction handover.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Preparing and submitting expressions of interests, preliminary estimates and comprehensive competitive tenders for a range of project types, clients, and values (max $15million).- Collaborating and liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors to prepare and execute successful ECI’s and design build competitive tender submissions.- Preparing conceptual architectural designs via Revit, for prospective clients and future developments, including detailed design as required during the construction.- Assisting the client on projects with no architect in making decisions regarding detailed design choices such as internal finishes and fixtures.- Preparing weekly labour hours, monthly project status sheets and reports to keep track of programme, financials, quality assurance and health and safety.- Managing subcontractor agreements, progress claims, variations, contract correspondence and general invoicing.-Problem solving within the project team to overcome challenges relating to labour resourcing, plant and equipment requirements, construction programming, subcontractor sequencing, and detailed design issues.Biggest Achievements:- Leading the tender submission for a mixed use $3.6million store, motel and café refurbishment project- Taking on the lead QS and Contract Administrator role for a Local Territorial Authority Project being Subcontractor to a Tier One National Construction Company.- Successful delivery of a seismic project from inception to completion, consisting of earthquake strengthening to a community building which faced significant challenges such as; a limited budget, historic building constraints, existing concrete construction techniques dating back to the 1800s, access to the steep pitched roof, and the application of new carbon fibre band technology.
