Elyse’s practice is focused on energy regulation, as well as environmental, administrative and Indigenous law issues. She applies her expertise across a broad range of sectors, including electrical transmission and distribution, conventional and renewable power generation, upstream oil and gas, pipelines, petrochemical, critical minerals and mining. She provides clients with strategic advice in a variety of matters involving project approvals, commercial transactions, tolls and tariffs, compliance proceedings, greenhouse gas emissions, environmental assessments and litigation, utility crossings, land rights acquisition, as well as public and Indigenous consultation. Elyse has experience in matters before a variety of federal, provincial, and territorial regulatory agencies, as well as all levels of courts in Alberta.
