The Client Support Consultant is a trusted advisor and problem solver for Foundant clients. As an integral part of the Client Support team, the SC will ensure that clients have dependable, fast‐moving, and expert resources at their fingertips whenever they have questions. The SC must constantly adapt to unpredictable client obstacles and think creatively and critically to ensure clients can quickly get back to their philanthropic missions. The Grants and Scholarships Specialist CSM is a key position for creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The CSM is responsible for the successful implementation of the Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) and Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM) products; as well as providing support and training to clients on a regular basis. The CSM will also build long term relationships with clients focusing on achieving strategic goals, client health assessments and ongoing renewals.

Develop and coordinate strategic grantmaking programs for field of interest funds including identifying priorities and researching best practices in the field.· Meet with potential grant applicants to educate them about the grant application process and evaluate their capacity to achieve program goals.· Provide staff support and direction to volunteer advisory committees administering grant funds of the Community Foundation including preparation of meeting materials, developing the grant review process, preparing reports, and presenting recommendations.· Analyze grant-giving patterns over time to maximize impact, identify synergies, and evaluate results.· Assist in the development of grant stories, website updates, and social media communications that promote the impact of the Foundation’s grantmaking.· Develop partnerships to leverage support for foundation-sponsored initiatives..· Work as a member of the team to develop plans and policies for achieving greater community impact.
