Currently working independently completing monthly DMR (outfall discharge from wastewater) and training reports, and conducting hazardous waste and paint line inspections. I assist the EHS manager with site compliance sampling and reporting to ensure our lab results are in compliance with the local, state, and federal environmental regulations. I analyze lab results and backtrack to the source of contamination in our wastewater and solid waste so a plan can be made to minimize environmental impacts. I have also mapped out the various departments in the aluminum plant and broke down the chemical processes involved into equations used to improve our yearly TRI reports and more accurately report chemical usage within the plant.

Focusing on non-thermal inductively coupled plasma diagnostics to collect data on the fundamental interactions of these complex systems. Long term goals of the Blechle Group include plasma applications which work towards NOx reduction in exhaust systems.
