- Research on pediatric neuroblastoma and finding less toxic cancer therapies in the Dr. John Maris laboratory- Determined how effective CAR T-cells are at killing solid tumors expressing different HLA allotypes, ultimately working to expand the population of patients that can receive CAR T-cell treatment- Analyzed patient data obtained through RNA-sequencing in R to categorize risk of disease- Shadowed in the Maris clinic, allowing me to meet the children and families my research directly impacted- Awarded summer 2023 Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation research grant to study the effects of EZH2 inhibition in treating neuroblastoma by CAR T immunotherapy

Taught tennis to groups of children aged 5-13 as part of the tennis program's summer camp and fall clinic

- Selected for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Internship for the Spring of 2020- Developed donor proposals for energy efficient projects designed to battle climate change, and drafted websites to highlight goals of these projects in three different countries (Uzbekistan, Niger, and Guinea-Bissau)

I was 1 of 16 students chosen out of 200+ applications for the Discovery to Cure Internship Program at Yale Medical School. My research, in the lab of Dr. Gloria Huang, was focused on ovarian cancer and the ARID1A gene. I presented my project to numerous professors and doctors at Yale in August 2019. I was later published as a co-author on an abstract submitted and selected for presentation in March 2020 at the Society of Reproductive Investigation Annual Meeting in Vancouver. The abstract was also published in the Reproductive Sciences Journal.
