Working on ExxonMobil Global hardware and software roll out. Responsibilities include building new Desktops, Laptops and Workstations. Office moves and Desk cable management. Migrating all user data to new equipment and performing initial setup with customers. I am also responsible for floor walking and resolving any hardware or software issues experienced by the customer. Supporting Windows 7, Cisco VPN, Office 2010, Outlook 2010, Communicator, Lotus Notes etc. As part of my duties I also provide cover for the Lead Technician when they are not present on site. Which includes planning and scheduling user migrations and managing the other technicians and trainers. This is a multi-site based roll out and so far I have been involved at Fife gas terminal, Sage gas terminal and Aberdeen Main office. I have also rolled out all equipment on the Beryl Bravo and Alpha platforms. This has given me a great insight into the workings of the oil and gas industry. Throughout the roll out I have adhered to all SLA agreements and timescales while sticking to strict health and safety guidelines.Specialties: IT Support
