I am a Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, ‘24. My previous experience focuses on pushing the boundaries of equitable healthcare, focusing on trauma-informed care, culturally and linguistically sensitive care, and an adept recognition of the diverse social needs of the communities we serve. Previous professional experiences have included work in quality improvement, clinical research, grant coordination, public health, community health, social determinants of health, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and teaching English as a foreign language. Academic foundations in Psychology, Spanish, and Latin American Studies complement my mission to serve diverse communities with empathy and informed advocacy.My aim is to continue to bridge primary care with broader public health strategies to ensure a person-centered approach to improving population health. My dedication to public health is fueled by a desire to dismantle systemic barriers and foster inclusive, equitable, and compassionate health practices.
