Erin Matheson is a technical professional with over a decade of experience in the energy sector. Shebrings her unique background and skill set to her work as an engineer, focusing on thermal in-situfacilities and operations support, with extensive field-based experience.Erin is a leader in multi-disciplinary project management and execution, having been both project manager and technical lead on several multimillion-dollar projects. She seeks collaborative solutions and has worked with field operations, maintenance, and construction teams to achieve critical project optimization.Erin is a passionate athlete and a committed volunteer. She competes in powerlifting; as a member of the national team from 2017-2019 she won several medals, holds a national record in military press, and volunteered with the Special Olympics. A lifetime of figure skating led her to become a coach with Skate Canada, as well as serving on the board. She has volunteered with the Calgary Humane Society for over a decade – ask her about her “Voids.” She also serves as Program Lead for Young Women in Energy, encouraging the next generation of young women to become involved in the industry.Erin is Professional Engineer in good standing with APEGA. She recently completed a Masters of Management Science focused on technology development and data science, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemical Engineering, Honours with Distinction), both from the University of Waterloo.
