CurrentProactive Philanthropy creates and reinvests charitable funding for nonprofit organizations. The one variable that organizations need but don’t have, is long term stable funding. What’s needed is a significant, naturally replenishing supply, that’s equal to the demand. We believe the solution comes from working with companies who will donate their surplus capital goods. We sell the equipment and issue grants with the sale proceeds. Simply, we want, what you no longer want or need. Using surplus and waste generates the lowest risk and the highest odds of success. Creating progress and improvements with our least valuable resources removes the mystery and doubt that we have everything we need to build the community that we dream of. We have the collective expertise to achieve anything and now we have access to ideal sources of capital to methodically and incrementally begin improving our society for the benefit of everyone living in it, by ourselves for ourselves. The reinvestment of this capital will ignite the infinite potential of the “capital and expertise” equation.
