Since July 2023, I have been privileged to serve as Director of Product, guiding our software development and content teams. In this role, my focus is on aligning our software, hardware, and curriculum with the evolving needs of our students and teachers, ensuring that our offerings are not only innovative but also deeply impactful in educational settings. My involvement in our Senior Leadership Team is an opportunity to collaboratively steer our strategic direction, ensuring that every decision is made with the best interests of educators and learners at heart. In this capacity, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where both educators and students feel supported and inspired, emphasizing the importance of being both a mentor and a learner in this ever-evolving educational landscape.From January 2022-July 2023, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a skilled software development team, focusing on advancing our education platform. Achieving Certified Scrum Product Owner status has enabled me to assume additional responsibilities, including product management, stakeholder communication, and priority organization. My role ensures our product vision remains responsive to educator feedback, continually shaping our platform to meet their evolving needs.As a Senior Education Consultant between 2019 and 2021, I supported K-8 educators by conducting Professional Development training, leading webinars, creating new content, and hosting office hours, among other activities. My work focused on assisting teachers in integrating our curriculum and kits into their classrooms. These kits, aligned with NGSS, CSTA, TEKS, and Common Core standards, include courses for Grades K-8, Bluetooth-enabled hardware blocks, and interactive software designed to enhance computational thinking skills.From 2005 to 2019, as an Elementary Teacher, I built a foundational educational experience for students in kindergarten, first, and fourth grades, focusing on their academic, social, and developmental growth. I continuously enhanced my skills through professional development, which enabled me to lead staff training in key subjects and introduce innovative strategies. This commitment to growth and learning now enriches my current role, where I apply my educational insights to develop and lead training sessions, contributing to our collective success.
