CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS (Dates refer to completion)- Development of a cross platform training application using Appcelerator. The application contains functionality like live recording, editing and uploading of video, logins, data analytics, creation of user avatars, and an augmented reality section permitting users to accurately measure marker distances for use within an online competition. (08.17)- Development of the backend and UI for a CMS using SAP HANA technologies. The backend employed SQL and JS, while each device on site used a custom node.js app. The client was presented with a CMS for viewing, editing, deleting and adding content, all of which was automatically deployed to the device. Presently, this installation is in daily use for tour assistance (06.16)- Collaborative development of an internal content delivery system using node.js. The system allowed clients to send content (e.g. touchscreen quizs, game, etc), to multiple digital displays throughout the building using a github repository. This allows access to external companies creating additional content. (10.15)- Remote management of a team of IT specialists working on-site in for maintenance and hardware updates (Ongoing)- Development of a "power management" web interface facilitating communication between all devices within a large stadium, representing an accessible, effective and reliable system for powering up/down and restarting all digital displays within the facility (09.15)- Development of an application for presentation of statistics pertaining to specific areas of a stadium. Application display/visualisation devices used a novel transparent touchscreen interface, representing an entirely new approach, and thus experience, in terms of user interaction. This application employed Electron, a framework for creating native applications with web technologies(08.15)

Currently developing a research application externally funded by the Geological Survey ofIreland (GSI). The application will provide the public with a means to accurately predict if theirpersonal well water is contaminated with E. coli. Development is currently in progress and hasinvolved development of a cross-platform app which was built using React Native and server consisting of Node.js and Express with a Postgres database.The app allows users to input their location, respond to model-defined queries and obtain a result from the server. The server acquires live (daily) climate data from Met Eireann, in addition to static GIS data from the GSI, with these variables employed alongside user inputs to populate a logistic regression equation to predict the likelihood of the users well water being contaminated.
