As part of a grant-funded project to preserve and re-house oversized maps created by U of U archaeologists in the 1930s-1980s, I scanned each item, gathered its metadata, and entered it into a Digital Assets Management Spreadsheet, which was later used to create a searchable, online database for researchers.

In this role, I used the principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity to remediate catalog records that used outdated or offensive language to describe collection contents as well as updated subject access using Library of Congress authority-controlled subject headings. In each of these cases, my work centered the experiences of BIPOC peoples and made their archival materials more accessible to library patrons.

As a rare bookseller I assessed the condition of new acquisitions, researched each item's historical and literary significance, gathered the item's bibliographic metadata, and wrote catalog descriptions for the items for use in-store and in online listings. I assisted customers in person, by phone, and responded to email inquiries with additional information and photographs of the item queried.
