I am a third year honors undergraduate student majoring in marketing at the Isenberg School of Management. I am also pursuing a certificate with the International Scholars Program, where I take courses about international issues and cross cultural communication. This past summer, I took courses in International Marketing and Food Culture abroad in Barcelona, Spain. This experience exposed me to cultural nuances that affect international marketing, and taught me how to navigate unfamiliar environments. This semester I am completing my honors thesis, researching the role that student athletes play as influencers on TikTok. Through my research, I plan to use quantitative data collected through TikTok analytics and qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews with student athletes. As an independent researcher, I have fine tuned my organization, communication and analytical skills. I am prepared to continue developing these skills, striving to create data-driven solutions to problems at a consulting internship this summer.
