Representing Waterford Kamhlaba's student body with an air of diligence and transparency!

The focal point of Africa week is to highlight and celebrate the achievements of Africa and Africans. I have been involved in this organization for 4 years albeit in smaller roles, thus it was an honor to serve as the Assembly and Conference Executive for the 10 year anniversary of Africa week! Working alongside a committed and dedicated team on a project I am so personally invested in and in-love with was one the highlights of this year! Africa to the world <<< Africa is the world!!!

Asinakekelane, which directly translates to 'let us care for each other', is a beautiful student led organization that encourages the student body to collaborate and take care of each other. It promotes inclusivity and fosters a kind and caring mentality among students. As an executive, I have the honor of planning wellness sessions for the student body that allow us to discuss topics that impact us and are relevant to the world as a whole. Having such a space space to talk about pressing matters and creating it for others, is a joy in my life that I will carry with me for a very long time.
