Technical Production Facility, PS API Manufacturing Science & Technology

As a part of the two-year Manufacturing Talent Programme consisting of three job rotations, each with a specific focus area.1st Rotation: Insulin Manufacturing I (IM1) Solvent SupportGeneral process knowledge and understanding. Contributing to the production of solvents for fermentation, recovery, and purification facilities at the world's largest diabetes active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing site. Co-responsible for daily operations, encompassing regular follow-up meetings with process operators; handling deviations and change requests; overseeing batch documentation and release of solvents; employing systematic problem-solving; driving minor process improvements; effectively managing stakeholders from diverse disciplines.2nd Rotation: Insulin Manufacturing 2 (IM2) FermentationData analysis and visualization. Utilizing manufacturing intelligence and data analysis, including data visualization, to enhance the understanding and interpretation of process data. Combining process knowledge and data analysis to drive change. Contributing to the production of precursor insulin with a focus on the fermentation process. Equipment and process responsible for the raw materials used in the fermentation process, ensuring that equipment is fit for use, and planning timely maintenance for critical equipment. Introducing process changes utilizing the science- and risk-based validation approach.3rd Rotation: API M-US Fermentation & RecoveryWorking in the US-based API-producing facility in Clayton, North Carolina. Project management and governance, including gate presentations and schedule management. Change management, applying cLEAN best practices to implement Performance Boards, establishing KPIs, and introducing planning boards for a structured overview of the team members' responsibilities and tasks. Improving operational efficiency by guiding the team through the transition from a project mindset to a production mindset in this new facility.

Board Member of Danmarks Tekniske Universitets Fond for Teknisk Kemi (Chemical Engineering Foundation at the Technical University of Denmark). For more than 100 years, the Foundation’s purpose has been to promote technical-scientific research in the field of chemical engineering for the benefit of the Danish industry, to advance higher theoretical and practical education in chemical engineering, as well as to enhance the standing of scientific chemical engineering in Denmark.

The newly established Young Advisory Board plays a pivotal role in highlighting the sustainability agenda at Lån & Spar. With our expertise and values, we challenge the bank's ideas and perspectives, ensuring its continued ambition in the field of sustainability.Through the Advisory Board, we provide valuable input and feedback on Lån & Spar's sustainability initiatives. We share our knowledge and practical experiences, presenting tangible recommendations to the bank.As part of the bank's strategic work on sustainability, our focus is directed towards the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to drive progress towards 2030.As a member of the Advisory Board, I actively contribute to shaping Lån & Spar's sustainability practices, fostering a positive impact on both the bank and the wider community.
