Managed a $1 million program in the Navy's third largest fleet concentration area, overseeing 25 military, 8 contract and 2 Federal employees. Ensured the efficient and effective delivery of religious ministry throughout an 11-state area, consistently meeting priority program requirements at best value to the Government despite constrained resources. Advised Navy commanders on ethical, moral, religious, and spiritual issues affecting Regional support of all personnel. Responsible for supporting emergency planning/response for area crises or disasters.

Led a team of 15 military and contracted civilians, overseeing or directly providing care, counseling, training, religious services, and community outreach projects. Developed training and established internal controls at three installations, resulting in a complete elimination of any findings during all compliance inspections.

Coordinated manpower and logistics in support of religious ministry operations for Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN, encompassing over 7,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel aboard multiple platforms in dynamic, constantly-changing environments of southeast and southwest Asia. Deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, providing pastoral ministry and leading a team of 12 military.

Trained and equipped chaplains and chaplain assistants for employment with Marine Corps ground combat units in global expeditionary operations. Built relationships between chaplains and organizational leadership; assisted Marines and Sailors returning from combat with the transition to normalized garrison life with their families; coordinated and provided crisis care to families following casualties to service members; and led a community of worship aboard base of roughly 12,500 active duty, 24,000 family members, and another 21,000 DoD/Contractors.

Supported 1,100 Marines and Sailors while serving as the Battalion Landing Team Chaplain for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. Supported exercises and operations with allies in southeast Asia, and led community relations projects in Thailand, the Phillipines, and Okinawa. Upon return from deployment, concurrently served as the Chaplain for 1st Tank Battalion and the 7th Marine Regiment Remain Behind Element.

Reported to the Chief of Staff and advised base Commanding General regarding religious, moral, ethical and morale issues. Managed budgeting and contracting and developed and implemented training and internal controls for all religious ministry teams assigned to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School, and the Naval Hospital. Provided critical incident debriefs and crisis counseling to family members following mass disasters overseas. Delivered life-skills classes and counseling to Marines and Sailors transitioning from combat operations overseas to home life in the States.
