Passionate about driving change in society, I entered the world of marketing on a professional level through the golden Savage X Fenty doors, which has set my career expectations quite high. I learned in a very fast paced environment how to plan, execute and monitor social media campaigns - especially related to influencer marketing. I rapidly took over more responsibilities, coordinating not only the German market but also the French one. Wanting to develop my strategic knowledge and practical skills, I decided to go for a Master's degree in Content and Media Strategy in the Netherlands. There, I worked for 3 different companies, conducting consumer research (quantitative and qualitative), transforming the collected data into valuable insights and finally building evidence based content and media strategies. Content creation was also a part of it, but I will admit that it wasn't my favorite part.I thought of continuing with a PhD for a brief amount of time, but after a bit of a job hunt I was presented with the incredible opportunity of starting Shoparize's Marketing Department from scratch. The company probably won't ring a bell if you're not in the industry, but Shoparize is a Google certified Premium CSS Partner, as well as a product comparison website. In (extremely) short, we empower e-commerces to excel in their paid media performance regardless of their size or budget. After a few months of building a strategy and working across multiple teams, I saw the opportunity to optimize a few complexe processes that were hindering us from growing further. I've been given the means to implement my ideas, and successfully brought the different projects to completion. Enjoying this new product side of thing, I've transitioned to that department with lots of excellent mentoring.
