Mental Health Therapist
CurrentI offer individual counseling for adults and teens. I specialize in working with individuals in transition (personal, family, relationships, sexuality, work and vocation), suffering from anxiety and depression that limit your ability to cope. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a vital support system in times of change. Isolation, whether from your self or the world around you, is the root of much of personal distress. In relationship we can break out of that isolation, break out of old patterns and can discover the possibilities within your reach.I graduated with honors from Seattle University's Master of Arts in existential phenomenological therapeutic psychology program. At its core is the belief that we create our own sense of meaning out of our experiences. I completed a one year internship at Seattle Therapy Alliance, training in women's issues and feminist psychotherapy.Growing up in a mix of cultures, I appreciate the differences we bring with us to every relationship. I want to learn about your cultural diversity and history. Tailoring our treatment plan to your unique circumstances and needs, we will use a wide range of resources to reconnect you to a fuller life experience.
