Within the Volvo Group we own majority of our returnsble supply chain packaging material. It is distributed to suppliers and factories across Europe but also the world to all global Volvo sites. Volvo Returnable Packaging (V-EMB) is circulated in the existing flow and returned and collected in packaging terminals or depos. From there, empty packaging is distributed to our Volvo group suppliers. We handle ca 100 Million Transactions per year and manage ca 30 Million pieces of Volvo packaging. My function consists of three departments and two staff functions. We are 45 white collar employees in total. My three teams are responsible for the Packaging Operations and optimization for the Volvo Group in Europe. We have a global responsibility for initiating packaging investments to follow business cycle needs or for replacement needs. We also have global responsibility for the global planning between regions as well as Global responsibility for Data Analytics. I am member of the Transport Operations Europe Management team.

Responsinility for the inbound supply to the Volvo Trucks plant in Tuve (Material Control Dept). Transport budget responsibility. Personnel at the department were working both with material control and supplier development. We also had global sourcing representatives within the department

Production Engineer within plant Logistics in Tuve. Main responsibilities were the warehouses and Pull supply concept to the assembly lines. Later on I worked primarily in projects such as product introduction projects and material flow projects being the representative from internal logistics engineering.
