My role within the company primarily involved quoting and sales, whilst communicating daily with customers to ensure their needs are met and they were receiving the right products to complete their projects in accordance with AS/NZS2293, F6 and F8 of the New Zealand building code. Whilst working at Famco Lighting my responsibilities included sales and ordering, organizing daily nation-wide freight shipments, maintaining and editing the company website, conducting research and establishing contact with foreign producers to enable the company to successfully import and sell another line of lighting products to fill a gap in the market. I enjoy learning every aspect of what I need to know and teaching myself any other aspect I come across. I enjoy organizing and structuring work place procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
