As part of my teacher training I undertook placement teaching PE across KS3, KS4 and KS5. I am taught a range of sports across the curriculum including dance, athletics, badminton and cricket. I was given the opportunity to teach sport psychology within KS5 which has involved using a range of formative and summarize assessments

As part of my teacher training I was fortunate enough to teach PE across KS3 and KS4. I taught a range of sports including gym and fitness, netball, football and hockey. I was given the opportunity to run extra curricular clubs for netball and hockey as well as assist with football fixtures

To gain expereince in teaching PE I have started placement work within the PE department. This is giving me further opportunities to teach secondary students, increase my knowledge with unfamilar sports and observe how teachers will teach their students depending on their teaching styles, year group and skill level within the lesson.

Over the summer I worked as an activity instructor and group leader. Within the job I was and to utilize my knowledge within coaching and sport to get children of various ages engaged within physical activities. My main responsibilities included running sessions and entertaining the children. However, other responsibilities included doing night shifts across corridors ensuring the corridors were safe at all hours through the night till morning. Additionally, caring for the children and young adults was a responsibility held throughout all tasks on or off duty.

As part of my placement for my degree I undertook an opportunity to help teach and observe PE lessons for year 8s and year 10s. Within this role I helped set up and put back equipment, assistant in teaching students handball, athletics, table tennis and football. I was also given the chance to help lead a shotput lesson as well as a table tennis tournment.
