Worked on a project to quantify and analyse youth flight from Southport, focusing on its impact on regional inequalities and economic diversification. Explored place-based educational strategies and work patterns that could mitigate youth flight and promote economic and civic renewal in Southport.

Responsible for planning and scheduling all TikTok content and delegating tasks to other student staff members. Planned and created engaging content related to many aspects of the SU’s work including the Executive Officer elections, updates from the Officers, and events such as Reclaim the Night.

Represented 50,000 students on university, local and national issues at the highest levels of governance and decision-making.Monitored and led projects in the areas of: Access to Education and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, to increase the opportunities for underrepresented groups in Higher Education.Led the campaign against spiking in Manchester which captured the attention of residents and media of Greater Manchester and beyond. I worked with students across the five Manchester universities to create a list of policy recommendations for Andy Burnham and the combined authorities, whom I then met with. Resulted in the establishment of an Anti-Spiking Partnership and a ‘Good Night Out’ Campaign.Worked with staff and students to understand and respond to complex national issues such as government consultations on freedom of speech, the Prevent duty and conversion therapy.
