About Emily Bobinac
In many of my roles, education has been a main responsibility, whether for patients or clinicians. I love figuring out how to best help each individual understand a concept. This love for education led me to seek the educator role.For the last 6 years, I have been the educator for approximately 300 staff at a multi-department home health agency. For the last 2 years, I have been the lead educator for a small education team. In this role, I have had the opportunity to provide education for many different disciplines with different backgrounds and perspectives, including nurses, therapy, aides, and non-clinical staff. This has allowed me to explore a variety of education methods to best meet the needs for a diverse set of learners. Because of the remote nature of home health, I have continuously pushed our education curricula to be more conducive to asynchronous learning that still contributes to achieving the desired outcomes. I love process improvement, evidence-based practice, innovation, education and collaboration.More recently, I have taken my knowledge and experience in education to provide one-on-one education and coaching to assist patients in self-management of their chronic conditions.
