Hired initially as the Marketing Executive for the The University of Sheffield International College and University of Huddersfield International Study Centre. My remit over the past 3+ years has grown and I have now contributed to the marketing and development of seven brands within Study Group's UK/Europe portfolio, including Durham University International Study Centre and the University of Huddersfield - London. I have also assisted with the launches of two brand-new International Study Centres; University of Aberdeen and Cardiff University. My role focuses on driving international student recruitment to these study centres, where students undertake a pathway programme before progressing to the University partner's institution for their undergraduate/postgraduate degree. - Planning and generating content for a variety of channels (web, social media, print, internal)- Co-ordinating, briefing, implementing campaigns- Assist with delivering annual marketing strategies- Managing the Student Ambassador programme and the production of user-generated-content- Organising, capturing and communicating student testimonials and sharing strong news stories- Proof-reading, copywriting and tailoring content for different audiences- Maintain the accuracy of public information covering all marketing collateral and websites- Organisation of large-scale events (e.g. celebration evenings, partnership anniversaries, content shoots)- Building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Ashville College: I helped advertise across various platforms to connect with our audience, whether we were promoting an open event or marketing the brand at an international level at a large-scale exhibition. I brought fresh ideas to the table to enable the brand to become more innovative and rely less on traditional, printed mediums due to the lack of analytics produced. Ashville Trading: The most significant task I assisted with for Ashville Trading was the production of the branding proposal of the brand-new £3.8m Sports Centre. I then helped develop the plan into a launch strategy which we advertised and promoted throughout the Harrogate borough through social media, online platforms, a leaflet drop to 14,000 homes, newspaper wrap, press releases and digital banner ads. I managed the task of designing the branding with our design agency including a membership guide, timetable pack, leaflets, posters and double page spread. We then organised an entire open weekend and managed the event by undertaking tours of the facilities and turning the enquiries into sales. The open weekend was incredibly well received with 140 visitors, of which we converted 96 into members there and then. In terms of annual revenue, these 96 members alone will accumulate in excess of £29,000 over 12 months for the business.Other day-to-day tasks included: - Creating content for the social media platforms- Managing and updating the website- Arranging photo-shoots- Liaising with our PR agent and writing press releases- Producing regular analytics- Internal communications- Managing/recruiting the Marketing Intern.
