I teach and assist with classes of Human Biology and the Environment, Wildlife Techniques, and Vertebrate Zoology. I grade weekly assignments and quizzes/exams. I prepare and teach laboratory lectures for undergraduate students. I supervise and coordinate undergraduate research projects, and teach accurate field and lab techniques for those projects.

I served as the liaison between the camp site and headquarters for administrative and customer service needs. I was responsible for communicating with parents concerning customer service and disciplinary issues. I performed all administrative tasks for the camp site (report preparation and printing, attendance, employee information organization, employee uniform and technology supervision, camp inventory, camp merchandise accounting, and payroll). I also created groupings for all campers within campsite (accounting for buddy requests).

I worked in both the small and large mammal departments. I prepared animal diets, administered medications (including insulin injections), prepared and participated in animal enrichment, observed and participated in the training of animals, and cleaned both public and backup exhibits. As a result of my working in the small mammal area for so long, I was also responsible for training new volunteers and interns, and was the only intern that was authorized to feed carnivores. I was able to work unsupervised a majority of the time, and was responsible for duties that were not normally entrusted to volunteers or interns.
