Hi, I’m Emily! After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Southern California in May, I combined my two passions — journalism and cinematic arts — in my role as a storyteller at Character Media. Doubling as an arts and entertainment reporter and documentary producer, I shed light on the AAPI trailblazers making waves in film, television, music, and sports around the world.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-stress situations on deadline, I’m driven by my desire to share stories as authentically and lovingly as possible (and to learn as much as I can in the process).
