Responsibilities included:-Assisting in the development of statewide Farm to School and Farm to Preschool initiatives, including drafting strategic plans and outreach to new and existing stakeholders-Developing and maintaining relationships with school district-level F2S stakeholders.

Facilitated local food purchasing and managed farm to school activities at six public schools, including the coordination of Harvest Festival events, farm field trips, taste tests, school garden work, and lessons on cooking and gardening.

Gardened two acres of diverse, organic vegetable fields while facilitating experiential education programs to teach farm visitors of all ages about sustainable farming practices, the importance of local and seasonal foods, and worldwide hunger and poverty.
