Wesleyan University Physics Department

Research analyzed the translational and rotational dynamics of large anisotropic particles in turbulence. The particles were designed in AutoCAD and fabricated using 3D printers; their motions were recorded with four high-speed stereoscopic cameras, the videos from which were analyzed with a library of MATLAB programs.
