About Emily Collings

I am a passionate Senior Environmental Engineer, currently based at Civix, Auckland, NZ (previously GWE Consulting Ltd). My passion and specialisation is onsite wastewater treatment and land disposal. Currently working towards Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) status. Having graduated from Newcastle University, UK as a first-class MSc graduate of Environmental Engineering, I dream of a lifelong career within the Environmental Engineering field. Key areas I am qualified to work in, are: Three Waters (Wastewater, Stormwater, Drinking Water) and Contaminated Land. Some of my most complex Engineering projects have included: Land development projects including both reporting for resource consent and construction monitoring of services; Seeka Packhouse Wastewater and trade waste design, Marae wastewater design, industrial premises wastewater treatment and improvement (discharge consent renewal), and Pahi Public toilets - wastewater options and design report for resource consent.
