As an English major graduate, I have consistently been interested in improving my communication skills for personal and professional reasons. I've worked hard throughout my adult life to be a well-rounded person that's capable of being a leader as well as a team member. I use the skills I've gathered to foster meaningful, positive, and beneficial relationships among my peers. My management style revolving around mutual understanding while adhering to procedure has gained me the respect of my team members and is something that I'm proud of.As a team member, I have gained competence in many areas that has given me a skill set that has progressed towards leadership roles. I have been informally trusted with leadership responsibilities in my professional life in many of the jobs I've been a part of, but my formal acceptance as a People Manager of the Network Operations Center GLS (Global Linking Solutions) is a milestone that has opened many doors and a further understanding of what it means to be a leader. Thanks to this opportunity, I have every confidence that my professional life will continue to be filled with a progression that will allow me to make meaningful and positive impacts on those around me.
