The Promise Partnership unites individuals, non-profits, businesses, and government organizations to transform the educational environment for Utah kids. We work so that all Utah kids are ready for school, better in school, and successful in life.-Co-facilitate monthly Early Learning Network with cross-sector partners and leaders-Participate in agenda setting and take lead on meeting logistics and communication-Contribute to strategy creation and build relationships with partners that align personal and organizational goals with the work of networks towards shared outcomes -Support meeting design and facilitation to center results and move partners to action

a. Study, develop, and review parks, trails, cultural art and recreation policies and plans.b. Review proposed design, improvements, modernization, and/or expansion of parks, trails, arts, and recreational facilities.c. Review the City’s Parks Maintenance Plan and formulate a recommendation to the City Council with respect to it. The Board’s recommendation should include specific projects and facilities, timing, phasing and any other considerations it deems necessary to be considered by the City Council. d. Evaluate parks, trails, art and recreational facilities policies on an ongoing basis with the goal of maximizing the use of city facilities to meet the changing recreational needs of the residents of the city.e. Pursue opportunities to expand cultural arts in the community including performing, visual and literary arts.f. Prepare an annual plan, including a proposed budget, for community activities and events and, with the approval, assistance and support of the City, be primarily responsible for carrying out those community activities and events.g. Submit reports and recommendations to the City Council any time it deems necessary or in response to special requests by the City Council.

Analyzed academic journals and assembled a manual for social media best practices specific to non-profits and participated in collaborative problem-solving. The project culminated in assembling a social media calendar to: 1. increase donations, 2. increase intentionality, and 3. create a First Place for Youth "brand."
