CareerI currently work for Blue Ridge Community College as their Marketing and Communications Specialist. I write press releases and internal stories to highlight all that the College offers. Additionally, I compile, schedule and manage the College's social media presence. I build our bimonthly Campus Connections newsletter, and I create signage and other images as needed with the Adobe Creative Suite.Previously, I worked for Flat Rock Playhouse as their Social Media Coordinator. My main responsibilities included content creation, copy writing, newsletter production, and digital marketing campaign planning. I also worked for Audacy as a local reporter. In my time there, I created audio stories for air and longer print versions for the web. I regularly interviewed local leaders, business owners, politicians, etc. and also filled in as a news anchor for extended on-air segments.
