I am an Occupational Therapist in my fourth year of practice. I am highly passionate about working with children and their families to promote occupational participation and engagement.I have gained experience working with children with a range of conditions, including: Autism Spectrum Disorders (levels 1, 2 & 3), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, chromosomal abnormalities, trauma, attachment concerns and anxiety, among others. I have also had experience assisting with, running and developing group therapy programs targeted at social skill development, emotion regulation and self-care.Within my team, I spend time working closely with Speech and Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants. Working in a close, multi-disciplinary team has greatly developed my understanding and appreciation of other allied health roles. As a result, I am highly passionate about providing clients and their families with high quality multi-disciplinary care.
