Conduct cognition and swallowing assessments for geriatric patients in skilled rehabilitation and long-term care. Generate and perform treatment plans targeting memory, expressive and receptive language, problem solving, and swallowing strategies. Track data and progress using Rehab Optima computer program.

Provided speech and language therapy to students age 9-12 during the extended school year program. Worked with both verbal and non-verbal students with AAC systems. Managed behaviors through use of visual supports. Collected data and completed progress reports for the summer.

Completed data coding for the APPLE: Ohio project. Analyzed video observations of preschool classrooms with a focus on literacy and language instruction. Increased team collaboration skills through project discussions. Exposure to data enhanced personal skill of orient to detail.
