During my time with WFSE, I completed a wide range of tasks and projects to support the Admin/Reception department. My main duties were as follows: -Receiving, scanning and entering member information into company database from various payroll deduction forms.-Managing the meeting schedule of upper management.-Frequent coverage of headquarters reception desk (included monitoring locked door access, triage main line phone calls for executives, sorting and distributing all building mail/packages, and discussing building projects with various contractors.)-Run weekly reports of new members and distribute them to respective state agency payroll departments.-Print letters for new members weekly, stuff and send out mailing packets.-Order supplies, manage stock for department and all building conference rooms.-Cataloged images of large union banner collection for digital viewing.-Managed distribution, organization and recovery of union banner collection.-Maintained an Excel sheet for PEOPLE member jacket distribution detailing address, jacket size, and account number. Forwarded updated sheet to executive assistant weekly.-Answer emails from members and agency staff regarding deduction entries, updated member information, questions, etc.Unfortunately due to a company downsize, my position was absorbed and I was laid off. I greatly appreciate the knowledge and experience I've gained from my time in this position; while I will miss my team at WFSE headquarters, I am ecstatic for this opportunity to meet new faces and expand my skills.
