During my employment at Sunshades Eyewear, my portfolio included Preen By Thornton Bregazzi, Oroton, Sass & Bide, Ksubi, Surface To Air, Richard Nicoll and House of Holland (amongst others). I was responsible for the successful re-branding of iconic Australian label Oroton, and the launch of British label Preen By Thornton Bregazzi, which well exceeded initial sales targets. In addition to my design work, I also championed and established several charitable initiatives across the company.• Creating innovative collections in-line with brand identity and client briefs.• Working collaboratively with sales and planning teams to analyse sales data, reviewing best sellers andthe product matrix to ensure each collection is a commercial success across all segments and regions.• Interpreting and forecasting trends in the market.• Managing design timelines, production costs and budgets.• Liaising with overseas suppliers, including bi-annual factory visits.• Internal and external training of staff and preparing training documents.• Working closely with marketing and PR to ensure that initiatives are in-line with the brand identityand sales strategy.• Presenting new season collections and trend reports to major accounts both domestic & international.
