CurrentIn this role, I serve as the Program Manager for the LCCC P30 Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG). This includes:- Management of the annual noncompetitive renewal application.- Management of the competitive renewal application.- Management of all NCI CCSG supplemental applications.- Management of all CCSG-related pilot projects.Key Responsibilities:- Manages a daily team of direct reports (Research Program Coordinators, Metrics and Analytics Coordinator, and Project Analysts).- Acts as point lead on strategic discussions with Executive Leadership on research initiatives, talent acquisition, and financial planning which contributed to programmatic restructuring of 3 Research Programs to foster collaborative science and impact, recruitment and onboarding of 30 peer-reviewed faculty and fiscal management of a $73.3M annual operating budget. - Oversees key planning and evaluation activities including External Advisory Committee Meetings, Internal Advisory Committee Meetings, Research Retreats, Translational Working Group Meetings, and monthly Research Seminars.- Develops comprehensive dashboards for funding, publications, and clinical trials using Smartsheet, Tableau, and Power BI, leading to a 61% increase in cancer-relevant funding, a 29% average in high impact publications and a 35% decrease in time to activation of clinical trials over the project period.- Partners with Executive Leadership in the investment of $48.97M in discretionary funds on key CCSG focus areas.- Guides the development, monitoring and revising of the LCCC Strategic Plan.- Spearheads cross-functional meetings with LCCC and its Consortium partner, which led to the deployment of $3.1M in developmental funds for promising investigators, successful recruitment of 4 external investigators for research leadership positions in alignment with LCCC’s scientific priorities, and a two-fold increase at the Consortium site in cancer-focused peer reviewed funding base of $4.3M ADC.
