I was responsible for articulating and executing a research agenda around formative assessment and feedback that addresses questions such as: How can we better capture learner knowledge and skill during the instructional cycle? What are the characteristics of formative assessment that lead to improved teaching and learning processes? What types and modes.

I led a team of five researchers, with responsibility for developing and implementing a global research and innovation agenda for market research, product design research, and impact evaluation to examine the efficacy of learning products and solutions.
