Growing up, my teachers would call me a social butterfly (a nice way of saying I talked too much.) Luckily, I found a way to put my talkative tendencies to work. I studied communication in college, eager to find my field. Majoring in News, Magazine Media, and Creative Writing, I opened myself up to a lot of possibilities. I worked as a magazine editor, newspaper columnist, radio DJ, writing tutor, and was active in the non-profit community in Des Moines. Since then, I've taken the slew of skills I learned and applied them to the teams I've been apart of.I've become an adaptable, curious, and compassionate leader. I'm comfortable managing projects and working under quick deadlines. Working as a morning news producer, I learned confidence in making quick calls and how to deliver under demand. Working as a content editor for a retail company, I've learned how to write in a brand-specific tone and strategize editorial execution.My cup of tea? Being able to master something well enough to teach someone else. Anytime I'm learning something new, I'm eager to understand the smartest way about it. I love collaborating with my teammates but I'm also comfortable brainstorming with just me and a large cup of caffeine. I will always put passion into the projects I'm working on, giving them the enthusiasm they deserve.
