I have always had a great interest in news and media, and I started my Media education in 2015 at The Romsey School. I took Media Studies as a GCSE and was awarded an A. I then went on to study Media at Richard Tauntons Sixth Form College and was awarded a Distinction for my A Level. After leaving college aged 18, I began searching for a job in the Media Industry. I came across an Apprenticeship position working with the Southern Daily Echo. I spent just over two years as an apprentice in the newsroom all the while studying for my NCTJ at Highbury College. I was awarded a Distinction by the NCTJ in December 2020. I am now working as a trainee reporter at the Daily Echo and am looking to complete my NQJ within the next few years.
