• I completed a 6 week Nuffield research placement at the University of Ulster assisting a PhD student with her research about child wheelchair users.• Produced a literature review on wheelchair skills studies which developed my ability to critically appraise randomised controlled trial designs and the results of their statistical analyses. • Received the CREST Gold Award for my 16-page project report.• I also visited the Haematology Laboratory and become familiar with diseases which lead to wheelchair prescription such as spina bijida and multiple sclerosis.
