Main responsibilities included assisting with resource management activities such as controlling noxious weeds, building and maintaining fences, taking fuel moisture samples, thinning projects, and running skid steers. Noxious weeds were controlled by chemical, biological, cultural, and mechanical means according to Integrated Weed Control Plan. Use of UTV and ATV sprayers as well as backpack sprayers were used for chemical control. Hand-held GPS units were used to map weed infestations and bio-control sites. Additional duties included assisting with collection of various rangeland data for the bison herd.

Additional duties included assisting with the trails team and rangeland team with various duties. For example, fixing broken fences and gates and installing signs on forest service access roads and trails.
